Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Paper Doily Angel

This is one of the cutest angels I've ever seen. Even though this is presented as an ornament or part of a garland, it would make a nice last minute or token gift for folks on your list. This project is part of our series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas. The tutorial is here, posted by Mitsy, at ArtMind and the photo is theirs.

Angel gifts are special enough, but you might want to add a verse, like my Freebie, here. Place your angel in a pretty container or a printable DIY gift bag, nestled in tissue paper, with the verse on an attached tag. Also, do you have a lot of deli lunchmeat containers multiplying at home? They'd make pretty containers for your gift, and they are reusable. Again the tag helps make it special.

This tutorial includes lots of close up photos. Instructions are well detailed and provided in a step by easy step format. The result is tiny and adorable.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

If you are feeling too crushed for time to make your own gifts this season, check my Etsy shop for items for your gift list.
