Update on Prayer Request - Brain Surgery

Most of you will remember that twice in the past month or so I've mentioned a friend's friend scheduled for her brain surgery. The first time it was postponed for a UTI. Then we thought it would happen a week or so ago. Well, that, too, was postponed - this time it was a mild upper respiratory infection.

The thing is with brain surgery to remove a tumor, they try to reduce the risk as much as possible. That makes sense. It does, however, add to the stress while waiting. So, while we await a third scheduling, it would be wonderful if you could find a moment for another prayer or two. Surgery works best when the patient is at their best.

Sweet Lord Jesus, this woman is living with the knowledge of the tumor in her head. This alone is stressful. Add to that the rescheduling of the surgery and the stress builds. Please look upon this woman with compassion and mercy and bless her with whatever she needs to remain stable while awaiting the procedure. We trust in you.
