After the initial pinky toe
amputation and second surgery for some of the side of that foot, I’ve heard
nothing bad. That is a great relief to me because we all know that diabetics
are at risk for infection from any sort of surgery. Thank you, each of you, for
those prayers.
My brother’s prostate and kidney cancers:
When they did the
biopsy on the Stage 2 kidney cancer, and the results came back, apparently the
biopsy went wide enough or deep enough to actually remove all of that
particular cancer. As for the Stage 1 prostate cancer, that is very slow
growing. He is considering dropping some of the treatment and trying other less
difficult options. Thank you, each of you, for those prayers.
My friend with the loved one who was praying for a correct
diagnosis of a medical situation:
I have no update on this one. I have no idea
whether it took care of itself, or prayers helped in some other way. But I do
know that I have heard nothing else. In most cases, no news is good news. Thanks
for the prayers on this - will let you know.
Me:
For now, things are stable and I am truly grateful for
that. Bills are still being paid on time. That is primarily because the old car
that was sending me to the loan companies over and over and never getting them
paid down. Because of its age and condition, it was replaced by another. Insurance
is higher but still offsets the loan payments I was making while in that
vicious circle. Health is stable. Thank you, each of you, for your ongoing
prayers on my behalf.
Sweet Lord Jesus, please accept our thanks for prayers
answered. Please bless my dear friends in amazing ways for their generous act
of praying for those they do not even know. We trust in you.
