Medical - a few appointments in February, scattered. They
include one to the lumpectomy surgeon and one to a new oncologist to discuss
results of a tissue sample sent for breast-cancer-risk DNA to determine whether
I’m high or low risk for re-occurrence, and another - so far.
Car - Repairs are needed oftener now on this ’01, which
would not have been a big issue 20 years ago when I was younger and had a good
job. Now, however, it's obvious it's going to happen oftener. A friend and I have
been talking off and on and there might be a solution of sorts coming up soon,
so there’s a nice strong ray of hope.
Home/Food - Still doing food prep daily, almost, but the results
are great for times when I don’t feel like doing any of it at all and I can
yank things out of the freezer. Today, for example, I made my quick-and-easy
chicken soup on the stove. It made enough for me to pack 7 servings. I also
whipped up a batch of yogurt smoothies and packed 11 servings from that. The
other thing I did along those lines was to take a package of 16 little
breakfast sausages (form a food pantry) and just boil them all and then pack
them in little sets of 3. I love to chop one as just enough taste and not too
much cholesterol and/or fat, for my little veggie omelets.
Plans - I am still doing charity crafting along the way, and
doing Swagbucks surveys which have been yielding at least one $25 gift card a
month, often two of those. I use those for kitty supplies and household
supplies because food pantries and such rarely, if ever, cover supplies. The
recent months’ of medical issues did cut into that time.
So, I’ve been keeping on keeping on. De-cluttering? That has
been taking a back seat, I’m afraid, but all in its own good time...
Rolling along...

Good Morning Evelyn! I like your blog~ You share life as real as it gets! The struggles, and the fun. Praying for a healing for you, and that you get all the right medical treatment. I've learned that is important too! Seems you keep good track of your income and needs. The LORD will bless that! Have a great weekend! Hugs~
