Prayers, Please, for Dear Friend?

I was unable to reach a nearby friend who’s been my BFF for a few years now. Turns out she is in big need of prayers. 

She’s older than I am and in assisted living so at least the building has folks to check on her but the place itself is in lockdown because of the rampant flu cases in our area (and all across the country). On top of that, family thinks she has an infection and they are hoping for a lift on the restrictions so she can get some labs done and hopefully some antibiotics into her.

I feel helpless, as I often do, when I cannot do anything physically for her or for someone else. At those times, I’m relieved to be able to at least share a prayer.

Lord Jesus, the healer, please look gently at my dear friend’s situation and help the family to be able to help her with good timing on labs and treatment. And please also look out for all those across the country in the midst of this year’s flu epidemic. We trust in you.
