Medical Issues Updates and Plans

Life is moving along. That biopsy on my back shoulder - the results came back today and it is the basal cell type which means deeper cutting and some stitches, but that’s about it. Will make the appointment as soon as the doctor contacts me.

On the lump in the breast, my primary care guy is having his people make an appointment. He must see it first, then do the referral and he wants to get things going. Should hear about the appointment tomorrow.

The wound care moves along. Neither of the two is completely healed - it will be a week tomorrow but will obviously take longer. If not healed by Monday, I think I’ll just pop into their office and see if they’ll fit me in for a look-see. Too much to do in here before then plus I don’t want to use the car more than necessary.

Tomorrow I’ll print the newsletter, Thursday I’ll staple all 400+ copies, Friday I’ll roll my half, and Saturday and Sunday mornings I’ll walk around and deliver them.

Somewhere before month end, I must get up to the County office and get that food stamp fiasco cleared up.

I will probably be going into major crock pot mode from next week forward. I must use up a lot of produce before it spoils. I really am lusting after that eggplant in the drawer. Might try to do that up Saturday for sure. And I’m out of my smoothies so tomorrow I’ll grab that 2 lb. tub of plain yogurt and blend it with a can of beets (excellent for blood pressure and sugar control) and a cucumber (ditto), and maybe a touch of this and that. I should end up with about 4 or 5 peanut butter jars of smoothies, maybe more. I should cook those 2 huge carrots, chop them, and make them into carrot/raisin/celery/avocado salad to nibble from for a few days. The avocado is something I like to have some of almost every day, again, for its many benefits.

Yep, life is moving along...

I hope you are all doing well, my friends. You are all always in my heart and prayers.
