The Security Guard that morning didn't help.
And my mechanic was being extra cautious.
They checked everything underneath, even something they call
"height clearance."
Apparently from what two of the team said, that model is
built that way. It allows for lots of "cargo." My back seat folds
down, by the way, to allow for extra cargo, so when the truck gets filled, the
car balances out.
I suppose after the year I’ve just experienced, and you all
know what I’m talking about, maybe I’ve grown a bit over-cautious. Not quite
paranoid, you understand, but perhaps close to it.
I love this guy and his team. He could have “taken me to the
cleaners.” How wonderful is it to have a mechanic you can trust?
For those in
my area, Las Vegas/Henderson, NV, here’s the info on him” Tune and Lube Repair
Center, 4251 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, 89121. Don’t let the “tune and lube”
mislead you - focus on the “repair” - he does it all, from clunkers like mine
to high end vehicles. Here’s a link to the Facebook page. He’s got a 5 star rating at the local BBB, on Yelp, and
other places.
What I love most is that if there are several things wrong,
he will let you know which is most immediately needed, and then which should
come next, and so on, letting you know how soon each should be done.
As for your prayers, I have a friend who calls the folks in
her unofficial prayer chain her “prayer warriors.” I must think of an
appropriate name for each of you - aha! My "prayer angels!" You have no idea how powerful your prayers
are and how blessed I pray you will be because you think of others in this way,
in spite of your own issues.
Hugs and prayers for all of you, always.
Lord Jesus, thank you so much for hearing our prayers. Bless
each of these folks for their loving compassion, and bless them abundantly. Oh,
and bless my mechanic, his team, and their loved ones as well.
