Between different eating patterns and de-cluttering during
some changes in the daily routine, and running around with paperwork, etc., I
am sure to lose a few unnecessary pounds.
I began realizing that this morning. I noticed that most of
the foods in the fridge were things I personally do not eat or like, and which
were not good for my weight. I recalled that for a couple of years I have been
finishing up things bought for his meals and then leftover. Now, he was good
about 2nd day leftovers, but after that, nope. Sometimes even I had a hard time
eating them the 3rd day. Our finances were very tight, even almost
non-existent, and there was no way I could rationalize throwing good food out,
so I finished it up.
One of my neighbors has a very difficult time getting to the
store for groceries and I will be able to bless him with these foods. A lot of
them are "hot" items and my neighbor does love spicy food - that's a
win-win deal.
For me, I love soups at home and will be eating a lot of
those, I think I am actually looking forward to it.
I just wish the motivating factor was not such a sad one.

Evie your always looking out for the other guy.....espically now in your time of grief....I think after you and I met from me replying to your craigs list add for the clothing,,,,I knew at the beginning you and I was going to be good friends..And of course Frank was in there too,,,,when he and I talked when you had the yard sale and I was there....I really enjoyed talking to Frank,,and so did Steve....We love you both and silkie...its going to be different for her too..but you 2 will be fine after a while.you will have to start giving her whip cream the way Frank did with tigger.....

You are so kind, Kathy - as for the whipped cream and Silkie, no way! She's ALREADY a "plus size" woman (LOL)...I am afraid to weigh that little furry critter (sigh)...
