Finally, I switched, a half hour ago, in desperation, from
IE8 to Firefox. When my PC died early this year, the technicians not only set
up my usual IE8, but they gave me the icon for Firefox as well. I wasn't sure I
would like Firefox.
However, my brother, who has surprised me by being a PC
geek, swears by it. So does the new guy in our senior mobile home community who
has become our in-park PC guru. He also tells me that some virus programs do
not work well with IE8 because that browser insists on Java. I'm getting ready
to update or upgrade my virus protection anyway, so maybe the Lord is telling
me that it's time to make friends with Firefox. I might not be Mensa-material,
but I'm not stupid enough to ignore something He's trying to tell me.
Anyhow, when I went into Blogger via Firefox, I had no
trouble whatsoever posting tonight. I have a few things planned for my blog that I want to do this week and I was worried about the timing with this posting glitch.

Evelyn, thanks for the info on Foxfire. I just downloaded it after reading your article, and now I will have to get use to the new look...plus I lost my translator and will have to figure that out.
My computer has been responding slow so hope this helps me too! ♥♥♥
I'm getting used to the new look. Mostly my problem is with the Favorites Bar across the top of my screen. In IE8, I had small icons but here I have icons and text which take up room. I have to figure out whether I can just get the icons because I have about a dozen I like to keep handy. Other than that, things are working nicely and I have no trouble at all with Blogger. Good luck with your changeover!
