I know I posted about little scrap fabric bow paper clips (hair clips, pins, etc.) recently, but I have this thing for easy bows. You see, I cannot tie a nice, neat bow to save my life. So when I see a way to make a bow and it comes out beautifully, I am hooked. Tonight's link to the tutorial at IHeartNapTime is here. It is part of the series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas.
I think these are the sweetest bows I've ever seen. Jamielyn shows one as a hairband trim for a little girl, but these have many uses. I'm sure they can even be attached to bow-tie-clips and given to some of your guys, if you use the right colors. Or, they could adorn a Christmas tree.
These days, felt is available in convenient small packs of a dozen or so, and in many colors.
I do promise to hold off on any more bows for at least another week or two. I will try to control myself.
The photo is from Jamielyn's post.
For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.
