Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Print a Postage Stamp Dispenser House

I'm trying to offer something for the guys on our lists at least every week or so. Tonight's project seems to fit our series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas. For any man or teen who uses postage stamps, this is a cute idea. Please be sure to read the instructions carefully regarding copying, saving and printing the templates.

I found this posted by Cathe on JustSomethingIMade and the tutorial is here. You need to scroll down to about the middle of the page for the stamp dispenser template and tute. She has other little printable house template on the page as well, so this isn't just for guys. However, I am focusing on them tonight.

It is always very hard to find something we can make for our fellas, young or old. This one doesn't look girly and it is practical. You can always include a small roll of stamps for some of the gifts.

They should be printed onto card stock. The design is already on the template, in full color. You simply copy, print and assemble.

Cathe gives a few tips on the best ways to do the assembly and she includes great photos. Her step by step tute is a joy to see.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

If you are feeling too crushed for time to make your own gifts this season, check my Etsy shop for items for your gift list.
