Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Felt Flower Centerpiece

Giving a centerpiece for a gift is a great idea. If the recipient is creative, they will always enjoy another item for swapping out when the mood hits them. If the recipient is not creative, they will enjoy having something so beautiful to display. It's all part of our ongoing series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas.

This tutorial is on LinesAcrossMyFace, at this link. Rachel concentrates on showing how to make the centerpiece in this post, but she also includes a link to a very detailed tutorial showing how to make each individual flower.

I love Rachel's tutes. She is very careful to cover everything for those of us who cannot read between the lines.

These are Fall centerpieces but by varying the colors, they can work for any other season of the year.

There are always a few people on our holiday gift lists who we want to bless with something special. This project might take a while, but it something we can feel proud to give.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

If you are feeling too crushed for time to make your own gifts this season, check my Etsy shop for items for your gift list.
