The yarn is attached with glue. The technique uses an adhesive I have not heard of before. The fact that I do not have to fuss with a hot glue gun really makes me excited. The other technique uses freezer paper iron-on stencils, another method that is new to me.
Because I do NOT sew nor do I embroider these days, this really thrills me.
Michele's website, The Scrap Shop, has a great tutorial for this pair of techniques. I have two pillow forms at home just begging to be used, and some scrap bumpy chenille-type yarn that I think will be great. I need to begin thinking of designs.
I found this one on my fave daily craft e-newsletters, from CraftGossip, of course. Most of you know how many free patterns I've shared here, that I found through them. To get their newsletter, you just visit their site and sign up. They have at least two dozen ideas every single day. I don't have time, or the interest, to pursue all of them, of course. I browse the email, clicking into whichever ones tempt me, and bookmark the ones I feel I can tackle. Of course, along the way, I share some of them with you. You wouldn't believe the list of links I still need to share with you.
Have fun with this one - it's a keeper and anybody can do it.

Thank you so much for your sweet words, Evie! Please let me know if you end up trying this technique. I would love to see what you make! :)
I will be sure to do that, Michele. In add'n to the pillows I have here, begging for this, I was thinking about using it on sweatshirts for the holidays.
