The email offered a free .pdf version of his newest book, Where Laughter Lives. This is a book of over 4 dozen little anecdotes, all charming, all sure to make anyone, parent or not, smile when reading them.
As the email said:

His only fee is a request that anyone getting the free version will pass it on to others and ask them to pass it on, as well. It is also available in a fee-based (very small fee) downloadable e-book as well as a paperback at the site which lists his other materials.
