Crochet: Ambi-texturous

I am so happy that I can crochet with both thread and yarn. It really opens up many more patterns to me than sticking to just one type of material. I began, as a child, with thread - edgings on handkerchiefs in the 1940s. For a long while, the past ten years, I rarely used thread and preferred yarn. These days, I am equally at home with both. I might have two or three projects going on with both thread and yarn. It is fun to be able to work with the one that suits my mood.
