Prayers for Me? It's Been a While Since I've Asked for Myself

I try not to do this very often because there are so many folks I know who need your prayers. I haven't asked for them for myself since last August. That was after my double lumpectomy and drain, and 15 radiation treatments, and I was facing the PET scan to see if there was any trace of cancer in my body. That was favorable and I thank you all for those prayers.

Well, tomorrow, I go for a 3-way procedure visit: ultrasound, mammogram, and hands' on physical exam of the area. It takes a few hours because they often need to take me back in for different angles.

So it's been 7 months since any pix of that area. Although I am not so stressed that I'm sitting in a corner sucking my thumb and crying, I have to admit that I am a little apprehensive, a little nervous, and have no shame in asking you all for prayers for a favorable outcome. Thanks for any wee prayer you have a moment to send up!

Sweet Lord Jesus, you've always been there for me. I pray that you see that I have been doing everything the medical team wants me to do, between meds and other routines. Please look upon me kindly and with compassion and your healing love and help this to go in my favor. Still, not my will but the Father's be done. Jesus, I trust in you!
