Prayer Request for Upcoming Surgery on Sis-in-Law

My bro's wife is scheduled for surgery on the 4th. She's recently gone through emergency diverticulitis bouts and they are getting very painful. They want to remove some innards and we are praying it will end with that and she will not need a colostomy. 

She's in her mid-70s and they both depend on her housekeeping jobs to supplement their meager income. Prayers appreciated.

Sweet Lord Jesus, I have been through similar surgery but for a different reason. I know the fear and having had that colostomy for a little over a year back in that time, I also know how fearful that is to face. Please bless her with a better outcome than expected, quicker healing than expected, and a great medical team along the way. And please comfort my brother while he worries about her, as well. Jesus, we trust in you.
