Grateful for my own Blessings but Praying for Others

So very grateful that my A/C is finally working again. Those 3 days of the indoors here being between 85 and, late today, even up to 98 - they were tough. I am happy the contractor found the trouble and fixed in one afternoon. Silkie is recuperating. I am recuperating. And I have a lot to catch up on here at home where it was too hot to do anything physical.

But because it was so hot in here, especially in the back where the PC is, I didn't get online enough to get to all the news about my friends. As bad as it was for me, friends were dealing with worse.

One dealt with an abscessed tooth - one pain I would not wish on my worst enemy.

Another is facing even more reconstructive surgery on her one foot - between the pain and the upcoming surgeries, she is trying to hold on.

Another has always had severe migraines but this latest lasted 11 brutal weeks.

There are the others, the one with cancer, the other facing long-term dialysis at home, another constantly seeing one doctor or another and dealing with angiograms and more, and there are some I have not yet caught up with.

Sweet Lord Jesus, I am grateful for your blessing in getting our A/C working. So grateful. Along the way, please glance at the lives of those I just mentioned and the others I have not caught up with. And those who have ongoing, long-term medical and emotional issues. Watch over them; heal them in whatever way they each need. We trust in you.
