Prayers Needed for Friend on Cancer Just Discovered

My friend did not ask for prayers on this. I am asking. I am very worried for her. Through the almost-a-decade we have known each other, she is almost always fighting a medical issue or two.

She thought she had a scar tissue issue near a former surgery site. Turns out it is cancer in the abdomen. I have never even heard of such a thing and so I am truly worried. I don't even know how they treat it.

Prayers, please? This is a woman with a good heart who has done warm-hearted things for others. Thankfully, she has the support of a loving family.

Sweet Lord Jesus, our healer, please look compassionately upon my friend in her latest need. We pray for a competent medical team, we pray for patience for her and her family while this plays out, we pray for whatever she needs for whenever she needs it. We trust in you.
