Busy Day Bagging and Tagging and Other Stuff

Didn't do much yesterday except for lots of food prep. I'm usually a bit wasted after the two walking days delivering the park newsletters. But today I had to make up for it.

I spent most of the morning gathering all the weekly finished projects for our charity crafters. Packed (and hefted and moved and stashed) 9 full 13-gallon bags, half for the homeless for the coming winter and half for the local babies in need. Managed to also fit in calls to pay two bills and I drove over to pick up the blood pressure med refill. I also made coffee for 3 days and some carrot/raisin/avocado salad for the fridge for the week. Oh, and I called the parking ticket people to be sure they really DID take my name off that incorrect ticket from the first week of this month. I know they said they would, but I wasn't going to miss verifying that. They begin to add daily penalties after the 31st. Anyhow, that's definitely off my record and on the right person's record.

In between, I finished another scarf for the homeless and straightened out the big closet. I had been stashing the bags of completed items to the right which is near the water heater closet. Thought it best to move them to the other end and while I did that, I moved some stuff to one side for the October park wide yard sale.

Finances seem stable this month but there are a few odds and ends that don't occur every month. My home insurance was the larger "first" payment of the new fiscal year, our mobile home county annual tax came due, the car must go in over the next week or so for an oil change and I figure probably an air filter at least, and DMV. None are excessive and I seem to be able to meet them all and my regular bills without resorting back to those short term loans. That is a good thing.

Tomorrow I head out early and stand in line at DMV to renew my driver's license. This is one of the times they will do an eye test and possibly a new photo.
Rolling along...
