Thank you, Lord, for my Blessings

I just want to take a moment, Lord, while this is fresh in my mind. I need to thank you now, on the spot. Too often, I plan to do it later and then life gets in the way.

This morning, I am especially thankful that you held me up, gloriously, on the second half of my monthly newsletter deliveries. Every time I start out, I pray I can finish. Every time I finish, I feel so much better. You know exactly what I need. And you also know that I need motivation and the monthly commitment does that for me.

Of course, I need to walk a bit throughout the month, so as of today I’m putting that at the top of my prayer list for my own needs - that I walk to the Mail Room, at least, several days a week. In this upcoming triple-digit Vegas heat, that will be early morning or evening. That’s a simple distance of 5 houses over and 5 to return - easy. I trust you to help me in this.

Oh, and again, I got distracted. I wanted to also thank you for the luxury, yes, luxury, of hot and cold running water inside the old mobile home. I needed that shower after that walk. After all the troubles I had a while back, resulting in the complete re-pipe, I truly, truly appreciate the blessing of a shower with clean water. I pray with all my heart that our world tries to ensure that everyone has this luxury - clean water!
