Catch-up Day, for Sure

Well, I began the year in a rather subdued state.

After all the urgent medical stuff from October forward, I’m in hiatus before the next round of follow-ups, treatments, and more. That should rev up in a week or so. But being lazy for a few days (except for  normal daily routine obligations) means I now have to pick up my pace.

After that last yard sale in early October, things sped up and I never had a chance to put things to rights in the back part of my driveway/patio area. Today, because we are expecting our first real rain in over 100 days, I really MUST go out there and re-pack some stuff. Some things might need to come inside; some into the shed. And some, if I’m going to sell it via our park newsletter, or have it picked up, will stay out there. But to stay out there, I must make sure it is inside something weatherproof. Rain should not be hard or heavy until later today, so around Noon, I’ll head out there. Won’t take me long. I just needed to get motivated. Apparently the good Lord realized that (knowing me all too well) and the rain is my motivator (sigh).

That’s the biggest thing for today. But I have a LOT of other things that I am very late getting to.

Must change the calendars. One of those requires me sitting and transferring notes/birthdays/etc. from last year’s to this year’s. And I must also set up my list of bills for this month in date order. And I must call to see about my oncology appointment. And a few other small but important details that I do not want to forget.

Not a heavy day, but I must keep it moving gently along.
