Not a Bad Start to the Day

Beautiful morning. Crisp but no wind. Perfect for delivering the first half of my newsletter route in the park.

I was so happy that I am now flexible enough (getting there!) after the lumpectomy and lymph biopsy to be able to put on and take off my fave winter sweatshirt. It’s light gray with a Christmas scene, but it is so nice and warm and heavy and comfy and easy to wear - can you tell I love it? I was so afraid that I’d have to wear the one jacket I own. It’s beautiful (a friend was giving it away a while back) but it is heavy for that type of walking and reaching into the bag for another newsletter and so on.

When I finished, I got right into the car and made a stop at Smiths for some Saturday one-day specials they had.

Now that I’m home, I’ll just change the litter later today and dice about 6 apples and nuke them for use in cereals. I might do some “little” things as they catch my eye.

Not a bad start to the day but after the past few weeks, I intend to enjoy it, as well.

I’m hoping my friends and loved ones will have a reasonably easy day, too.
