Unexpected Benefit of Indoor Antenna Analog TV

Now that I am using only an old analog TV with a built-in VCR and indoor antenna, I can’t get a lot of shows I used to watch. The TV is nice background while I am crafting - whether that is for charity or for my online shop or for gifts.

But my pattern has now changed. Out of the 15 channels I can pull in at present, 5 of them are Spanish, something I am not familiar with.

So, today, I rummaged through my VHS tapes. I watched Clarence, about an angel here on earth - cute movie. And I watched Roommates with Peter Falk and I cried, hard, at the ending. Both good films each in its own way.

Tonight at the computer, instead of having the TV on while I caught up on emails, handled a Reunion Report order, and did some other things online, I pulled out a few CDs and popped them into the PC tower.

I listened to Roy Orbison, Tony Martin, and a variety of others including Blondie doing One Way or Another.

I’m so glad I never got rid of the CDs and the VHS tapes. Folks were forever telling me if I didn’t use something in the past year, toss it. Again, I’m so glad I didn’t do that. They are very welcome now.
