Sin City’s Kids Are on Fire!

Back in June, I wrote a post about how Sin City has a heart, at this link.

Well, this weekend, their kids are on fire! Somehow, one of our little league teams made it to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

Most folks have an image of Las Vegas as wild, slutty and out of control. But we have a core population of “real” people - families, seniors, any type or group of normal human beings you can name.

And, wonder of wonders, the Mountain Ridge team actually made it to the little league World Series. They had to have a fundraiser just to get the money for moms and dads of team members to be able to fly out there and stay a few days to root for their kids. But the city's "real" people came through, as usual.

So far, these kids are on fire!

How great is that?

And how great is it for shattering stereotypes?
