Ok. Here’s
how he worked it out for me.
I had mentioned to several folks, about a week
ago, that I had a circular Skil Saw and a cordless Craftsman drill, and was
willing to sell them for $30 and $20, respectively. I had also mentioned I had
two extra moving dollies I did not need, for $10 each.
Monday
morning, before Noon, I got a call and a friend drove over and picked up the
tools. So, just in time to avoid a lapse in insurance coverage, I drove to the
ATM, tossed in the money, drove home and called in the payment.
Meanwhile,
the kitty litter was getting rather iffy. Fortunately, I had a big box of
baking soda in here, and I tossed that around in the litter, and freshened it
up quite a bit. Still, I knew I needed to change that, Saturday, latest. Again,
just in time, this afternoon, another friend drove over, and took one of the
dollies and tomorrow, I can get the litter and a few more cans of cat food.
You have no
idea how grateful I am for these two bail-outs. I have a lot of other worries,
financially, this month. However, knowing how it always works out, I am trying
more and more often to not let it freeze my thinking. Worries, of any kind, can
do that to the human mind.
Father, I am thanking you, here and now, for always taking care of me. Forgive me for the moments of worry, the times when I give in to fears and concern. Instead, fill me with the strength and patience I need to keep on keeping on while waiting for you to work things out for me, according to your plans, not mine.
