Free Prayer Sunday - The Homeless

The appearance of the homeless often puts me off and makes it difficult to concentrate on what I might be able to do to assist them.  I hope that when I say this prayer, God will help me to get past that and concentrate on their needs.

I am a little off-schedule with these Free Prayer Sunday posts, so I will be catching up this week with several posts in one week.

I'm marching through my self-published Busy Person's Prayer Book, front to back. This prayer is from the category, Helping Others. Earlier, I posted 4 prayers from the Work category (about jobs, layoffs, etc.).

The Homeless

You’ve asked us to help the needy

That includes the homeless, too.

Help me to see past their physical selves

To their soul’s reflection of you.
