Walking in Someone Else's Shoes

I'm posting a link, here, for a blog post from a dear old internet friend of mine. I won't give any details here because she says it best herself.

Basically, as bad as some folks feel I have it right now, this sweet soul has it ten times worse. My heart aches because I can do nothing for her at present. Except, of course, pray.

I guess that's why I'm posting this. I hope you will pray for her and her grandkids, too. Maybe we can make a difference.

There are many issues she is facing. I might be 22 years older than she is, but I am not dealing with trying to raise 2 grandkids myself in a troubled atmosphere. I don't know how she is able to keep it together. She finally told a few of us in this post that she has battled some emotional problems because of all of this. I can easily see why.

Anyhow, I do not feel I am betraying a confidence because, as we all know, blogs are really very public. Anyone can stumble on anything we have written, forever and ever. And I feel she really needs our prayers.

Father, please take notice of Micki's efforts to keep her grandkids together and happy. Please take notice of the fact that, in spite of how her family members have treated her, she still "does" for them when they need her help. Bless her in amazing and unexpected ways and let her know you are there for her and that you love her, as we all know you do.
