Turning My Thoughts To Others

The end of the month is fast approaching and I have too many days left at the end of my limited funds. To keep myself from stressing or worrying, I've decided to turn my thoughts to the lives of my friends and neighbors.

I pray with all my heart and soul for those I know who are suffering in any way, shape or form:

* - for those who are ill or who are caring for someone who is ill

* - for those who are worried about where funds will come to meet their needs

* - for those who are concerned about their own loved ones and all the issues connected with them

* - for those who fear that the Lord has forsaken them and face depression

* - for those who are in fear for their own lives or those around them

Father, please hear my plea for mercy and love for those I know and care about. Fill their souls with the stamina, fortitude and any graces they might need to get through their days and nights. More than anything else, hold them in your loving arms and comfort them, support them, and let them know you are present in their lives, even if they cannot see evidence of that.
