Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Cinnamon Sugar

We all know how delicious cinnamon-sugar is on top of warm moist toast. However, making batches for gifts can throw us when it comes to using the ingredients in the right proportions. This is another in my series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas.

The tutorial for this is on Stephanie's HomemadeGiftsMadeEasy, at this link. The photo is from her site.
Barb's recipe works well. It is very easy to double, triple, and quadruple. I'm not sure how to deal with this using something like Splenda for our diabetic friends. However, most folks use so little of this on their toast that they might just use the real-thing as a treat, compensating with other food choices the day they use it.

I like her cute idea of tying the cinnamon sticks to the gift jar. Nice touch.

There are lots of online free printable jar labels and tags, too, so we can make a nice presentation of the gifts.

This one works for gals and guys, young and old. Perfect.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.
