Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Paper Wreath

Holiday wall or door decor is not just for us; some pieces make wonderful gifts for those on our lists. This tute by Sarah at ThriftyDecorCheck is a Fall/Autumn theme, but can be easily adapted for Christmas. The link is here.
Wait until you see what she used for the base - very clever! I also love the easy way she wrapped the base, and the even easier way she made the circles and attached them. I try to post projects that are easy enough for this 72-year-old broad who is often all-thumbs these days, and this fits the requirements.

It would be so easy to change the color theme to holiday colors. Then, again, we could use a wintery white color theme which would last until Spring. I can't think of anyone on a Christmas list, except for children, who would not love a pretty wreath that they do not have to make and do not have to buy with their own cash.

Do take notice that it is paper, so keep in mind where the recipient would use it. An outside doorway might be fine if it is in an alcove or protected by a screen door. However, a door that is exposed to wind, rain, and snow wouldn't be good. Still, the person on your list could easily hang it inside in many places.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway (deadline Oct 31) for $25 in handcrafted merchandise from my Etsy store.
