Dream On...

I'm not sure what to write tonight. My mind is wandering and not staying long on any one topic. My nephew has been having recurring dreams about talking cats/kitties wearing oxygen masks. Go figure that one. I never have recurring dreams. Just normal one-of-a-kind dreams. I did dream once when I was young about giant ants rescuing me from a cave into which huge waves of quicksand were pouring.

Dream analysis is something I investigated when I was a teen, or maybe earlier. I quickly found out that there are so many conflicting opinions that it wasn't worth my interest.

The only reason I was interested at that time was that I had suddenly discovered that bookies in Philly, where I lived at that time, made book on the "numbers." Numbers were determined, in a way I never did figure out, by the outcome of nearby race tracks. Locals often bought little booklets that helped them decide their "lucky" numbers to play based on what they were dreaming. Even those booklets had several variations of their entries. I can only imagine where Frank's dreams, or mine, would pop up in that book.

I have no idea why I even wrote that. Life is interesting. Heaven must be a wonderful place, but I am glad that the Lord allowed us this time on earth. Earth is wonderful, too. At least it is very interesting.

Father, thank you for this time on earth in which to enjoy our bodies and minds. Help me, please, to take care of both (mind and body) in such as way as to do credit to your generosity and love.
