Beverage Cozies - Free Crochet Pattern

Back in September, I posted a free crochet pattern for beverage cozies. With the HHH (hazy, hot, and humid) days upon us, and the July 4th holiday approaching, it is a great time for me to remind folks it is here for the taking. The link to the pattern, above, also tells you how to get the pattern in a .pdf file from me, for those who prefer that type of copy.

For those who cannot handle a crochet hook, I do have some sets already made in my Etsy shop.

I have several reasons for loving this pattern. It uses crochet cotton yarn, which means it absorbs the moisture of soda or beer cans, and bottles as well. I designed it with a row of popcorn stitches around the top edge so that fingers will not slip up too far when holding it. And, for those who plan to make their own, these are extremely quick and easy. You can easily have a set in red, white, and blue done in time for a holiday barbecue or other outdoor party.

I love to give these as token thank-you gifts and they make great favors. Guests can use them, and then take them home with them.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
