Darkest Before Dawn

I'm posting this only as a reminder to myself so that when life works itself out this time, as always, according to God's plan, I can look back and see the path we ended up walking to get to the light.

For now, I'll only say it is very dark, indeed. My middle-aged nephew's unemployment was declined, his ribs still hurt too much to lift luggage so he cannot apply to another cab company for at least another few weeks. Meanwhile it is only my own SS that will sustain two of us and most of that goes for the rent.

Still, in the past, we have seen how the Lord's plans worked perfectly. Once, for example, we all thought we had the perfect mobile home and community selected and gave notice at our apartment complex. The deal fell through because everything the broker told us was wrong and we were not allowed to buy there because of restrictions on the number permitted in a household. We were devastated. By the way, I rarely use that word but it fits in this case.

We only had two weeks before we would be on the streets because our apartment lease would be up. It was very dark indeed, at that moment, too. Within that two weeks, however, we had been led to the home we have now, in a wonderful community and a much better home. So you can see why I feel dawn is on the way.

Father, I truly trust you and know you have something in mind; please keep us at peace while you help us through this night.

Evelyn just lifted a prayer for you and your nephew. I know you will be praising our Lord's name when He surprises you with answer(s)! Praising Him with you! Cathy
