The rulers are clear with a center line running the length. This line is exactly 1/4” so all of the rulers can be used to mark or check a 1/4" seam allowance, sewing line, or quilting line. Many of our testers, however, loved these rulers for paper crafts. The labeling recommends that a pencil with a fine line and sharp tip will give you the most accurate marks. This product is not for use with rotary cutters, knives, or other cutting instruments. These rulers are for marking purposes only.
