I sometimes wish I had a clone or two so that I could easily keep up with all the projects I would love to do and finish each day. I had a dear friend who passed on back in the 80s. Margie always said that she thought Heaven would be having all the yarn she would need to make every pattern she had and all the time in the world to make them in.
I’m sure we all feel like that. I try to not let it overwhelm me. I try to be grateful for the things I work on each day.
Some days, I do not even get a chance to pick up a crochet hook.
Other days, I work ten minutes here, ten minutes there.
Heaven-on-earth, to me, is finding the days when I can spend an hour or more at a time on projects.
When I begin to feel badly about not having time, I try to remember the friends I have who cannot work at crafts these days - because of physical or medical limits, because of mental torment and illnesses, and for many other reasons. When I think about them, I say a prayer, and I am thankful I am blessed.
