I have two beloved people I am worried about - one is my sister and one is my friend. The only thing that keeps me going is prayer. Tonight I realized how blessed I was to have my faith in the Lord. I wonder how people without faith can get through their troubles. During my alcoholic years, even though I blindly assumed God did not hear me, I did still have faith.
I think it’s time for me to pray for those with little or no faith. It must be frightening to face life that way. Life is often frightening enough, let alone life without faith.
Dear Father, please look kindly upon those with little or no faith, and if it is possible according to your plan, please bless them with the gift of faith, especially those I know and love.
