Finding Work, Cratt-wise

Most crafters know about Etsy, the online mall for selling your handcrafted items. I only just discovered an additional reason to set up a store on Etsy, one that will compel me to do it tomorrow.

Sellers on Etsy can access a feature formerly called Alchemy (now accessed on the Custom button). In Alchemy, you will see pages and pages of listings from folks who want your services and your products. Some are hard crafts, some want something as simple (for some of us) as computer-generated labels. This time of year, I saw a lot of requests for stocking stuffer ideas.

After you find a listing, you click and enter a bid. Some listings ask for a photo of what you expect to provide.
I was so excited to find this feature. I saw, just on the first 3 pages, at least a dozen things I want to bid to do. There were 89 pages of listings! I think I can lock in a few of them, too.

You are so generous, my Father, in the resources you provide to us; help me to be wise in my use of them.
