Back to Work

I still do not have the WIP bag packed, but I did start to crochet again tonight. It has been about a week, and I sorely missed it. There is something very satisfying about watching a pattern unfold and develop in my own hands. Like always, it soothes me, comforts me, calms my restless and stressed-out spirit.

I honestly didn’t have time before this, so I should not feel badly about it. Instead, I am happy that I have begun again.

I have changed my mind a zillion times about the things I want to make for this holiday season. I have both Christian and Jewish friends, so I need secular gifts, Christmas gifts, and Hanukkah gifts. Angels seem to fit all those needs, and I might just stick to them this year. I can do angels in so many ways. Bookmarks, stand-alone, fridgies, and more...

Father, thank you for helping me to find the time to pick up my crocheting once more; help me to find the right gift for each person this season - something to remind each person of you in their life, too.
