The thing is, I really really dread trying to stuff the poor
critter into the carrier. This one is bigger than the other one. I didn't
realize she was as long as she is. And this one opens both in the front and
from the top. So I'm hoping it will be easier to load her through the top hole.
The trouble comes when this old lady must carry the carrier with
the squirmy squalling terrified cat out the back door and down the 4 back steps
to the car, while trying to go down the steps 2 feet at a time (I can go
"up" one at a time, but not down) and while leaning on the railing
somehow. I'm clumsy with this particular part of the whole trip...
And because of that, I tend to stall on Vet trips. Which is why
when the stimulus funds arrived, I ordered the carrier immediately, and as soon
as I got it, I assembled it and made the appointment for the first slot
they had open.
So, folks, if you will be patient with me, please say a wee prayer
that this goes far better, much easier than in the past, easier on both me and
Silkie each...thanks!
Sweet Lord Jesus, you know the Father loves all his creatures and
I know he loves Silkie and wants me to get her checked out because He provided
the funds. So I will follow His lead and do it now. Please, though, be patient
with this old lady who remembers past trips with irritation and send me the
help I need to make this ever so easy? I trust in you.
