Sheltering in Place - Covid 19 Times

I was looking around my living room this afternoon. Coronavirus news and tips and sorrowful statistics were here and there on almost every channel. I was on my lumpy dumpy couch, my head resting back against the folded afghan at the top of its back. I sighed and realized how blessed I was.
  • I'm not in the lap of luxury, but I'm comfy in His lap!
  • I might be a bit fearful of this health pandemic, but I've been through other health issues and am still alive.
  • I tire more easily in my elder years than 10 years ago but I can still drive and shop and walk even if it's with a limp!
  • I have a roof over my head even if it is an old mobile home which needs repairs at times.
  • I miss the folks who have passed in my life, dearly, but I've got a fat cat who is kind to me!
  • I haven't got what I might have had if I had been more careful in my wild youth, but I've had more affluent times and even now I have everything I need, and more.
Heavenly Father, thank you for my blessings!
