My friend's friend needs prayers for herself, first, because
she just found out she needs another knee replacement. I don't know if this
means replacing a previous replacement or whether it means the other knee - I
forgot to ask.
And this lifelong friend of hers asked for prayers for
another friend of theirs. This other friend's husband was just diagnosed with
cancer of the larynx. At the moment, his swallowing capacity is less than that
of a soda straw. If they have to remove the entire larynx, he loses his voice
and needs one of those voice boxes and quite probably some sort of feeding
tube. Needless to say, everyone concerned is frightened while they await test
results.
I love how you all pray for folks you don't even know. I
pray, in turn, for blessings for each of you who do this.
Sweet Lord Jesus, you are our healer, our miracle worker.
These people need your love and compassion, your strength, and faith and
patience while they await the outcomes of these frightening situations. Please
bless them with these things and with medical teams who are reliable. We trust
in you.
