Prayer Request Update...

Back on the 6th, I asked for prayers for a dear friends' friends. It is a complicated situation, and we each know far too many other situations that are similar.

If I've got this all straight in my head, this involves several generations and people from the same family. One needs a knee replacement, one's husband has cancer of the larynx, and the friend herself is trying to hold it all together. Please keep them in your prayers.

We all know how this goes. So many times, we can deal with a big crisis but when several things pile up on us in the same time frame, it seems even more difficult to deal with.

I know at least 3 other families who are dealing with multiple medical and emotional situations that have piled up on them.

Sweet Lord Jesus, it is at times like this that we need you so much. You really understand. You have been through it for us. You suffered first that night in the garden, you wept, you asked to be let go of the burden, but you were seized and taken away. After all the mistreatment, you were then beaten, scourged, then crowned with thorns, and then made to carry the cross. All these things piled up on you. We are not suffering anywhere near that much, but we are mortal and we are suffering in our own way. We know you understand. Please fill us with patience, stamina, faith, healing where possible, and with any help and grace we need to deal with these situations. We trust in you.
