Prayer Request Updates - So Worried About These Folks

There are some folks I've asked you to pray for in recent months. They still need prayers and in a case or two, perhaps a few big prayers. Three folks come immediately to mind...

First is a friend with internal abdominal cancer tumors. I really thought she'd be finished with treatments after another two massive radiation sessions. Turns out one tumor is getting aggressive and growing more rapidly than apparently expected. This poor woman is now facing additional treatments, right away - 13 radiation treatments over the next two weeks, to hopefully shrink it quickly, in addition to other issues and some chemo treatments as well. Please pray she can stay stable and get through this, and that the medical team makes it as easy as possible.

Next is a friend whose father had a severe stroke a few months ago. He's been in rehab all this time and they finally removed his feeding tube and began light food. They also want to do an incision in his wrist to help turn his hand back into position. But now they had another bump because her mom had to go in for heart surgery - they just inserted another stent in for her. They live about 50 miles from Vegas, so this is a lot of travel back and forth, almost every day, for my friend and her kids and her mom. Please pray that they are all safe running back and forth and that they have good medical help along the way.

Last, is friend in renal failure, Stage 4, about 60 miles from here. She must go into dialysis and because of the distance involved, they are trying to pass requirements so that they can do it at home. They are trying to get the house up to the level of safety, etc., necessary. She is also hoping they will put the port in her tummy which will make it possible to do treatment while she sleeps. This dear woman makes, and brings, about 300 hats to our charity group each year. Please pray that both her hopes come to pass, on the port and on home dialysis, and that it is easier than it sounds at the moment.

Sweet Lord Jesus, healer, savior, and our hope - please watch over these folks and their loved ones. Please send all the peace and stability and help that they need, in whichever way each one needs it. We trust in you.
