My Brother's Radiation Treatments - Finally!

My brother has been waiting since March 4 for these to begin. He had "seed markers" inserted for treatment for Stage 1 prostate cancer back then and we've been waiting for insurance to catch up so they could schedule these. He began today and will have to go 5 days a week for 8 weeks.

Although treatment is not too bad, the transportation is their biggest concern. They must use the old pickup, driving 15 miles of dirt road to the highway. Then 25 miles of highway to the facility in the little town out in the high desert in CA where he and his wife live. Then in half an hour or so, turn around and come back. Plus, gas is also an issue...

So, I'm praying for easy transportation and no troubles along the way. He can't just stay there because he needs to be back home to care for their animals. My brother and his wife are in their 70s now and also very low income so he picks up saw sharpening jobs and small engine repairs when he can.

Sweet Lord Jesus, you had loved ones here on earth, so you know the feeling of caring about someone. Please look compassionately in their direction and help them in any way you can so that the time will pass easily and quickly and trouble-free. Yet now our will but the Father's be done. We trust in you.
