Prayers Answered - Thank you

Well, the plumber will begin work on patching my leaking incoming water line tomorrow. And this morning, I contacted the other two bills due next week and worked out a deal with them. I can rest easy for this month, at least. That is amazing for me, but obviously easy for the Lord. He always has my back.

It does not mean I can sit back and take it easy. I still go into each month in the hole. He has heard my prayers and the prayers of others on my behalf. But I must continue to move along to improve my new situation. When my middle-aged nephew, who lived with me, died on Feb. 1, our debt remained the same but the income did not. So, it is up to me to continue to ask the Lord how to use the resources he has given me so that I can improve the situation.

One of my friends referred to my recent issues as a string of bad luck. No - it is just life.

Things like this happen to everyone. It’s how we handle the problems, and how we look for solutions, that can differ.

For me, the leak was not bad luck. It was found by a free air duct checkup under the house. If I had not agreed to that free checkup, it could have grown extremely worse, beyond a simple “patch fix” and I could not have avoided a complete re-piping. The Lord did me a big favor - the problem here was that I allowed myself to become a bit more worried than usual for me. I don’t like this trend. I must get back to my normal unstressed feeling of faith, but I’m happy that the Lord will help me do that.

Father, thank you so much for friends in faith, for their prayers, and for your blessings on my life. Please look carefully at the lives of my friends, medically, financially, and in so many other ways, and help them as well.

I've been away for a while. I am sorry to hear your nephew has passed away~ But I agree with you whole heartedly that it was a blessing to find the leak before it got worse. Life is like that! But God is so good to go before us to help us~ hugs~
