Exploring Other Options for Plumbing Issues

Ok, I believe strongly in the adage that God helps those who help themselves. So while I’m waiting for him to work out my plumbing issues, I’ve been trying other options.

I plan to have a 2nd commercial plumber’s opinion as soon as I gather the fee for the estimate. I expect it will be a few thousand below the $5000 the first place quoted me. 

However, even this place begins at $2000 for a complete re-piping. But a lot better than the first price.

Also, a dear friend called with a name for me of a fellow who might come over early Sunday morning and see if he can just do a “piece” job to hold it for a few years while I get funds for a complete job.

Also, it might be that God is telling me I cannot afford the maintenance on a mobile any longer and I need to consider other options.

So, I checked online to see a senior apartment complex nearby, with sliding rates based on income. They are the ONLY place I’ve heard of locally, in the past few years, who do not have infestation problems and I like the sounds and looks of their setup. I have actually talked, at various times, with various residents over there, and they all have good things to say about it. I hate to even consider it, but I do need to investigate and keep it all in the back of my mind. If we close our minds to all possibilities, we cannot see where He is leading us, can we? The move would stress me out, in many, many ways for many, many reasons, but if it had to be done, I’d feel better having a place in mind.

So, for now, I’m using the water as little as possible, trying not to stress that pipe and make the leak worse.

 
Father, I’m waiting on your solution, no matter how long it takes, and no matter what it takes. Meanwhile, I’ll try to do my part down here while I’m waiting.
