Free Prayer Sunday - To Wake at a Special Time

I used to brag about my “internal clock” when I wakened without an alarm most of my life.  However, I find it very reassuring to have backup, and my Angel seems to be the perfect ally.  Whenever I wake at a time I did not pray for, I’ve found there was a reason.  When my Angel awakens me earlier, I needed the extra time; when later, I needed the extra rest.

 I'm marching through my self-published BusyPerson's Prayer Book, front to back. This prayer is from the category, My Needs. Earlier, I posted prayers from the Work category (about jobs, layoffs, etc.), prayers from the Helping Others (homeless, terminally ill, etc.), and Hurting Others (judging others, etc.) categories, among others.

To Wake at a Special Time

Guardian Angel, my special guide

While I sleep, stay by my side

At our special time please awaken me

And forever grateful I will be.
