Thank God, Literally!

Our microwave went out on us yesterday at 9:35 a.m. (sob) and we have to get another ASAP. We had no idea how attached we had become to our nuke-machine!!!! Thank God (literally) for his generosity this weekend at our yard sale because otherwise, we would have had to use bill-money to get another. It won't cost much because we prefer the most basic of models.

I know several folks who, if this had happened to them, would have said something like, "Shoot, I made some decent money at the sale and now I have to spend it on the microwave."

I, however, prefer to be excited that when the microwave went "out," I could use the yard sale money instead of my badly-needed bill money to purchase it.

Attitude is everything, I am finding out in my advanced years. God's perfect timing once again worked in our favor.

Thank you, Holy Lord, for providing the funds we needed for the unexpected purchase of a new microwave. Once more, you have provided even at the moment, or before, our needs were known t us.

Don't you just love those "It must be God" moments? I'm so grateful that God takes such good care of us, even when we don't yet know what we need. I hope you don't mind that I'm commenting on so many of your past blogs today. I just haven't checked your blog for a while so I'm getting caught up. :) I hope you have a great day!
