Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas - Felt Pom Pom Flowers

I firmly believe that most folks love flowers. These are only about 2 inches wide and would be great as gift wrap attachments. I can also see these as hair clips, pins, magnets, and more. Hmmm, maybe even earrings?

I love that there is no sewing. This is part of our series (9/21-12/24) of handmade Christmas gift ideas.

Rachel at LinesAcrossMyFace, has the tutorial at this link. Her photos and instructions, as always, are incredibly detailed and easy to follow. Even an all-thumbs cutter like me is sure to make some beautiful pom pom flowers.

There is one photo showing the effect of adding an appropriate button in the center.

I know I have a packet of 12 inch felt squares here somewhere and it's time I went and found it. I have a billion bottles of glue that are suitable for felt-on-felt. So what's stopping me? Nothing, now that I have these great instructions to follow.

For other projects in my series, just look along the right sidebar for the label "Christmas Gift Projects." I hope to post only tips that do not require knitting, crocheting, machine sewing, tatting, embroidery, or any other skilled technique.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway (deadline Oct 31) for $25 in handcrafted merchandise from my Etsy store.
